The part that nobody likes to talk about- cancelations, rescheduling, showing up late for appointments, and no show policies. In an effort to keep costs low and provide scheduling flexibilty for our patients, we do adhere to a strict cancelation policy. We understand that emergencies happen and we will do our best to accomodate you whenever possible, however, simply not showing up for a scheduled appointment without calling cannot be tolerated.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you call us 24 BUSINESS hours in advance to reschedule. This allows us time to refill that time slot.
If you are running late for your appointment, please call us and let us know. Patients who show up more than 5 minutes late their scheduled time may be asked to wait if the next patient has arrived first.
Patients who habitually do not call or show up for their appointments will either be dismissed from practice or be required to pay for their appointment in advance. If they still do not show up for their prepaid appointment, the fee will kept in exchange for the time wasted.
This is the WORST part for us. We simply ask for the same respect for our time that you would expect us to have for yours. Communication helps us keep things running smoothly for everyone- maybe we should simply call it the "Communication Policy" ha! We thank you in advance for your cooporation.
